WELCOME TO WHITE DOOR PHOTOGRAPHY
We are Grace & Bek, sisters based in Blackburn, Lancashire. We've worked together photographing babies, children and families for over 12 years!
We wholeheartedly agree that we have the best job in the world, capturing family images is so important to us and it's an honour to watch your families evolve and little ones grow!
We find that being sisters who work together is a great advantage when it comes to shooting, we call it our sibling superpower. It’s a very handy skill we’ve honed over the past 30 odd years!
It all started when...
We were little and encouraged by our Nan and her old what we think was a Kodak 110. We were always told photograph everything. This was probably because during a house move she lost the majority of the photographs she had. So she really felt it was important to have those memories captured.
Grace always knew she wanted to be a studio photographer, but Bek's took a detour after school as a make up artist, eventually finding her way back to photography whilst Grace was at Uni studying photography. Bek joined the year below and the plan of White Door Photography took shape.
Our studio
We are a cosy ground-floor photography studio in Blackburn, just a few minutes from the M65. Studio visits are by appointment only, this ensures your session isn’t interrupted by a walk in enquiry.
We specialise in newborn, baby, and family photography, creating beautiful, natural images that capture those precious moments you’ll treasure forever.
Our studio is warm, welcoming, and designed with families in mind — easy to access with little ones, and all in one room! We take our time with every session, making sure everyone feels relaxed and comfortable (especially the tiniest ones).
Whether it’s your baby’s first photos, a family portrait, or a special milestone, we aim to make your experience calm, fun, and memorable. With a cosy studio, plenty of patience, and a friendly atmosphere, we capture your family’s story in a way that feels natural and full of love.
We’re just off the M65, so popping in from Blackburn or nearby towns is quick and easy.
